The results of round one are in.

And we're off!

The team - John Ovens white, Paul Harwood, red, Andy Bishop, yellow and Bill Jenner, blue.

Who's that in the corner?

First Group Cars

The first group to run parked in their finishing order. First three cars all on 94 laps.

Second Group Cars

The second group to run, in their finishing order. 96 laps for the #30 car.

Loose gear and a short lane fault for the #16 lost it a little time.

Third Group Cars

Fourth Group Cars

My cars have extensively tested on this particular track over a number of months so a little bit of home

track advantage must be given. A huge amount of thanks to the drivers for giving up their Saturday

afternoons on our behalf and to Legendary Bob for keeping us more or less in order throughout.

I took notes of a few cars that had minor issues during the race.

Those will be addressed in the coming weeks and, as is usual practice, the last three cars will

get a full examination to see if there's anything that can be rectified.

Worst damage was a large crack above the rear wheel well on the Aussie Maserati.

The Cornish Lancia shed a bit more red paint but everything I've seen is repairable.

All things considered, a sixteen lap spread over the entire field isn't too bad.

So many cars on the same laps in many cases.  It won't require much advance to make up a lot of ground.

Negotiations are about to commence for a round at the Timaru track and I'm hopeful for one at Rockingham once they're up and running again. Two more rounds after that to organise - if there are any volunteers?
What larks, eh!
